What we know: Other than one Weber Gas Kettle released in the 70s, the Weber Genesis was the first Weber Gas range. The Weber Genesis was first released in 1985, redefining gas barbecuing. The Weber Genesis II was first launch in 2017/2018 and the open cart E-310 and E-410 versions are the entry level options |
What we know: The Weber Genesis Range saw an overhaul in 2022 and Weber have managed to yet again improve what was already an incredible BBQ. |

What we like: - Great price point considering the substantial size of gas BBQ. - It is similar to the Spirit II, but everything on this is more bigger, better and more powerful (check out our article on the difference between the Spirit II and Genesis II BBQ), backed up with a better warranty. |

What we like: - Pretty much the same as Premium Genesis Range, but with Weber Connect Technology. If you are someone that buys into iPhones, Ring Doorbells, Sonos etc, get a Genesis from this range! |
What we don’t like: - there's not much to dislike on the Weber Genesis II. A cabinet door would be nice on the front, but if you want a door then try to upgrade to the Weber Genesis "Premium" Range |
What we don’t like: - It’s hard to criticise the Weber Genesis - I'd like two big side tables, if I were to be really picky |
What we don’t like: - I prefer a physical lid thermometer and I'm not a big tech head, so I'd probably go for the standard Premium version |
