THE
CHARCOAL
RANGES

In 1952, George Stephen was working in a marine buoy factory works.  He cut a buoy in half, added grates and air vents.  The Original Weber Kettle was born!  That same marine buoy press is still in use, creating the same shaped Weber Charcoal BBQ, but now 70 years on, there are various sizes and options.

Weber Compact Kettle Weber Bar-B-Kettle Weber Classic Kettle Weber Original Kettle

Weber's entry level Charcoal BBQ, but still better than those Charcoal BBQ's that you'll find at a big homestore that create their "own brand" BBQ.

The Weber Compact has Weber's Warranty and a porcelain enamel lid and bowl that won't rust.

Standard Triple-Plated grates

Our opinion:
If you are only ever going to do Sausages and burgers then this grill will suffice.

Better than the Compact because it has the exact same features as well as:

- Deeper Lid
- 3 bowl Air vents -

Standard Triple-Plated grates

Our opinion:
As there is no lid thermometer the chances you are unlikely to do anything other than your stereotypical BBQ food, such as sausages and bacon.

If this is you, save your money and get a Compact Kettle

Better than the Bar-B-Kettle because as well as the same features, it also has:

- Lid Thermometer
- One Touch Cleaning System
- Charcoal Fuel Rails which can be used should you wish to use the "Indirect BBQ Technique"

Standard Triple-Plated grates

Our Opinion
A great BBQ that on the 57cm version will allow you to Roast large joints, as well as grill steaks.

If you are likely to only do 2 or 3 BBQs a year, then a BBQ around this level will be good for you and can be built upon with various accessories further down the line.

Pretty much exactly the same as the Classic Kettle but with a slightly deeper Ash Catcher

Weber Original Kettle Premium Weber Master-Touch 5750 Weber Master-Touch 5755 Weber Performers

Better than the Original Kettle because it has all of the same features, as well as:

- Hinged Cooking grates which as good when wanting to add fuel or wood to your BBQ, without having to take the grates off
- High capacity Ash Catcher that contains ash and means you do not have to clean it out after each BBQ

Our Opinion
Great BBQ that will allow you to Roast and Grill easily.  The upgrade of better grates and high capacity ash catcher means you won't have to worry about ash blowing off the tray like the lesser models, nor will you have to dispose of the ash after every barbecue.

Better than the Original Kettle Premium because it has all the same great features, as well as:

- Gourmet BBQ System Grates, that allow you to replace the middle section with an array of GBS accessories.
- Charcoal Fuel Rails allow you to change between direct and indirect cooking much easier.
- Integrated Lid Holder; makes sliding the lid off your BBQ really easy

Our Opinion
Considering the RRP is the same as the Weber Original Premium this is a great product as it comes with about £100 worth of extras:
- Charcoal Fuel Rails
- GBS Grates
- Lid Holder

Better than the Weber Master-Touch 5750 because the cooking grates are Stainless Steel, instead of triple plated

Our Opinion
Same as the 5750 but with Stainless Steel grates.  If our price is only £20 or so different to the lesser version then it's probably worth the upgrade.

Sitting just above the Master-Touch range is the Weber Performer. The Performer is a Weber Master-Touch with a built in side table. There are two versions, the Performer GBS and the Performer Deluxe.

Gourmet BBQ System Grates

Our Opinion
All the joy of a MasterTouch but with a side prep area.  If you don't have too much space, get the GBS version which has a foldable side table, but if you have the room, then get the bigger side table on the Performer Deluxe

Weber Master-Touch Premium 5770 Weber Summit Kamado

Superior to the Master-Touch 5750/5755 because it has: - A Hinge Lid that is easy to open and close - A Diffuser Plate and Charcoal Ring, which allows you to set your BBQ up for Low N Slow BBQ, perfect for briskets, ribs and Boston Butts

Gourmet BBQ System Grates

Our Opinion
We love this grill as it is a great all rounder.

Not just the best Weber BBQ but probably the best Barbecue on the market. This can do a quick steak to perfection, roast your Sunday lunch or hold heat overnight when going low n slow with briskets and Boston Butts. This is Weber's take on a ceramic Kamado, but with a dual steel wall that holds air between the walls, you have "better than ceramic" heat control. The Summit Kamado is a Weber Master-Touch and Weber Smokey Mountain rolled into one.

Gourmet BBQ System Stainless Steel Grates

Our Opinion
The Ultimate - if you have this grill, there's little need to have anything else in your BBQ artillary.  Choose from a standalone Summit Kamado, or one built into a trolley with work table.
