This week for #aroundtheworldin80bbqs, we're savoring the flavors of Maharashtra with Paneer Kolhapuri. Marinated paneer, grilled to perfection on a Weber GBS Master-Touch BBQ, served with a rich, spicy sauce. A taste of India's culinary heritage in every bite. Don't miss this barbecue adventure!

Ingredients:                                                                                               

  • Paneer 200g
  • Tomato 2pc
  • Onion 2pc
  • Green Chillies 4-5pc
  • Kashmiri Red Chillies 2pc
  • Black Cardamom 1pc
  • Green Cardamom 2-3pc
  • 1/2 tsp -fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - ginger - garlic paste
  • 4 tsp - dry coconut grated
  • Cashew nuts 50gm
  • Cinnamon half stick
  • Cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  • Double Cream

Directions (DIRECT METHOD):

  • Dry roast the black pepper, dry coconut, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves till the coconut turns brown.
  • Lastly, add the cashew nuts and tomatoes.
  • Grind this into a fine paste, adding a little water.
  • In a Weber Wok, pour oil and add the cumin seeds. Sauté it till dark brown.

  • Now add finely chopped onions and sauté till the onions turn brown.

  • Add the fine paste which you made, red chilli powder, coriander powder, ground masala and salt.

  • Let this cook for a while. Add water to get desired consistency and add paneer cubes.
  • Add some double cream, and let it cook for more 5-10mins. 
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
