38. Around The World in 80 BBQs - Puerto Rico
Pork Chops can very often be a bit of a BBQ let down, bland and overcooked. But with the right marinade and your trusty Weber grill, you can transform this cut into something very special; for best results you want to use scorching hot cast iron cooking grates like the ones you'll find on a Weber Genesis E-330 or E-310. This week for Around the World in 80 BBQs we're bringing a Puerto Rican flavour to the BBQ classic that is the grilled pork chop. Puerto Rican cuisine has been influenced by an array of cultures including the Taino Arawak, Spanish, African and their current colonizers, The United States. The key ingredients in this dish besides the pork are Oregano, Garlic and Sage. |
