This barbecue has all the features that come with the superb E210 however it has an extra burner with a separate control valve which allows you to turn the centre burner on or off. This means that when you want to use an indirect or direct cooking method you can adjust the middle burner to suit your requirements. By placing your meat above the middle burner while the middle burner is off means that the barbecue works more like a convection oven. This Indirect method is ideal for foods that require 25 minutes or more of grilling time or for foods that are so delicate that direct exposure to the heat source would dry them out or scorch them. Examples include roasts, ribs, whole chickens, turkeys, and other large cuts of meat, as well as delicate fish fillets. Alternatively the direct method is when you want to cook your meat directly and generally is for foods that take less than 25 minutes to cook: such as steaks, chops, kebabs, sausages and vegetables. This will produce a wonderful crisp, caramelized texture where the food hits the grate. It also adds nice grill marks and flavor to the entire food surface.

The cooking grates are porcelain enameled as well as the 'Flavourizer Bars' which help evaporate the dripping fat back up through the grates to ensure the meat stays juicy and flavoured. There is also a cart which can be used to hold a gas bottle or spare food and drink and the tool hooks afford you some extra storage space.
